We’re excited to share that the 19th Annual Día de los Muertos Festival will take place on Saturday, October 24, from 1 pm to midnight in downtown Corpus Christi. This award-winning event celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Mexico and South Texas with live music, art exhibitions, food trucks, family activities, and our community altar display.

The festival draws thousands of visitors each year and generates close to $1 million for the local economy. Organized by K Space Contemporary and Axis Tattoo, it also serves as the main fundraiser for K Space Contemporary, your neighborhood nonprofit art space.​

The sidewalk in front of your business will remain open for pedestrian access throughout the festival. However, please note that if your business has not purchased a Buenos Vecinos Sponsorship,  festival vendors may be placed on the street in front of your location. Becoming a Buenos Vecinos Sponsor reserves the street space in front of your door.

Sponsorship Levels:

• $250 – Reserves 10’ x 10' of open space on the street in front of your business

• $500 – Reserves 10' x 20’ of open space on the street in front of your business

• $1000 – Reserves 10' x 30’ of open space on the street in front of your business

Street closures affect the 500–700 blocks of Chaparral and Mesquite, 300–500 blocks of Peoples and Starr, and 400–500 blocks of Taylor. Traffic Control also requires no parking in the 300–500 blocks of Schatzel and 500–700 blocks of Water Street.  Admission to the event is free, so customers can still get to you.
