Frequently Asked Questions and Information
FREE Park-N-Ride
RTA is providing a FREE Park-N-Ride from 12:30 pm until 12:30 am.:
1. From City Hall and County Courthouse parking lots - catch the bus on Leopard St.
2. From the Sandollar Parking Lot at Texas A & M University - CC.
You'll be dropped off at a central location - at the DDLM Mural
at Starr and Upper Broadway.
UBER, LYFT, etc.
Attendees are encouraged to use a ride share service to avoid parking hassles. Ask your driver to drop you off on Water St. at Taylor.
Where to Park
We encourage attendees to use
RTA's Free Park-N-Ride from City Hall, County Courthouse, or TAMUCC's Sandollar Parking Lot. Another option is to take a ride service like Uber or Lyft.
Several adjacent streets are
"No Parking" zones during the festival. Before you you park, be sure to look for cones with small No Parking signs. They are sometimes hard to spot.
Paid Parking is available in multiple areas downtown.

For your own safety and to keep our downtown beautiful, we respectfully ask attendees to refrain from walking through the downtown flower beds and to watch your step around curbs, gutters, ramps and other landscapes area. Thank you!
Pets and Service Animals
While the festival is outdoors we do not recommend bringing pets unless they are service animals. The festival is crowded and loud which may cause undue stress to pets.
If you do bring your pets, they must be on a leash at all times.
Purchasing Beverages
Outdoor bars accept both cash and credit card payments. Please get in the appropriate line and have your ID ready!
Every drink purchase benefits K Space Contemporary, a 501c3 nonprofit organization and host of the DDLM Festival. K Space offers art exhibitions, art education programming for all ages, and has created many murals around CC.
Prohibited
Bringing in Ice Chests and alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited by city ordinance and TABC licensing.
Alcoholic beverages may not be taken outside of the festival zone. Please dispose of them
before you exit.

Food
The festival offers a variety of food by 25 local vendors serving everything from tacos and nachos, to hamburgers, pizza and barbecue!
Drinks may be purchased at festival bars: beer, seltzers, soft drinks, water. Aguas Frescas Booths are also on site.
Tables are available in the
Food Truck lot on Taylor St. and in
La Retama Park.
Merchandise
Official Dia de los Muertos Swag is available in the Merch Booth located on Chaparral beneath the Loteria Mural near the L & F Main Stage.
