Workshops - Creating a
Community Ofrenda
We are creating an ofrenda similar to the one pictured above for the 2026 Dia de los Muertos Festival. A project this big will require lots of volunteers to help make all of the parts. We promise to make it fun and you will learn something in the process!
We will make tin artworks (frames and embossed metal designs), crepe paper flowers and paper picado (paper banners). Each participant will create at least two tin artworks: one to keep and one to become part of the Community Altar. The workshop is free to attend. All materials are provided. Open to ages 10 and up.
Workshop Dates will be announced in late August.
